Tulane's QB Joe Kemp gets crushed by Houston defensive end Phillip Hunt. Believe it or not Conference USA officials did NOT suspend Hunt for his actions.....and I thought PAC-10 officials were bad.

Crowd noise can be a problem when you're on the road, but sometimes it affects the home team as well. Like when you're blitzing the quarterback and you don't hear the refs blow the play dead and suddenly you find yourself "unabated to the quarterback." And then, maybe you break his collarbone.

Despite a somewhat sluggish performance, the Tigers still manage to beat Tulane with a respectful score of 35-10 at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. Charles Scott led the way for the Tigers, rushing for 114 yards on 12 carries and scoring 1 TD.
